Prairie Star Care Farm: A Creative Journey
Ara had the honor and good fortune of participating in the logo and web design for Prairie Star Care Farm. This inspiring place allows individuals, regardless of their specific needs, to come together to reconnect with plants, nature, animals, and each other.
One of the highlights of the collaboration with Prairie Star Care Farm was the involvement in the naming, branding, and artistic creation for their beautiful Fall Equinox Festival, As Above, So Below. This festival takes place at the historic Larson Hemsgård farm in Princeton, Minnesota, offering an afternoon filled with fun and educational activities celebrating the autumnal equinox. Attendees can walk the labyrinth, visit with the farm animals, sing along with local musicians, participate in nature-based activities, learn from crafters and artisans, and much more.
Prairie Star Care Farm's Mission
Prairie Star Care Farm provides customized destination services that create a vibrant and inclusive setting. Here, individuals can engage in evidence-informed, nature-based recreation activities. The farm also offers innovative educational opportunities and hosts community engagement events that enrich the lives of all participants. It is a place where the connection to nature fosters personal growth and community spirit.
Through these creative contributions, Ara has been proud to support Prairie Star Care Farm's mission to bring people together and nurture a deeper connection to the natural world.
Prairie Star Care Farm is situated on our family farm (Larson Hemsgård) located in the rural community of Isanti County. Four generations of our family have been stewards of the land (started in 1878) and recognized by the State of Minnesota as a Century Farm.
As part of an evolving vision, Prairie Star Care Farm offers destination programing with opportunities for people seeking to enjoy a restorative experience on a farm. Our goal is to provide a place where people are enriched through evidence-informed, nature-based recreation activities; innovative education; and community engagement events.
What began as a dream of doing something good for others has become a reality because of hard work, dedication and the belief in sharing the blessings of the land with those who find their way to it.
